WHO WE ARE.
ALES Foundation was established on January 4, 2019, as a charity organization in the United States. The foundation was born from the desire to lend a helping hand to less privileged children in the Dominican Republic as well as their poor communities. Since 2019 we have been touching lives one project at a time with the assistance and participation of our donors and riders in the La Vuelta Quisqueya bike riding event.
In 2019 the La Vuelta Quisqueya bike riding event raised enough funds to build a playground in Carrera de Yeguas in the southern part of the country. Before the year ended, we inaugurated our first playground project that is currently meeting the recreational and social needs of the children in the community.
Furthermore, even though the 2020 pandemic caused some setbacks, we didn’t let it stop us from carrying out the mission of helping our people who are in need.
With your help and participation, we hope to continue our giant strides towards making the Dominican Republic a better place for our children and people.
Social Mission
ALES Foundation’s mission is to carry out charitable activities and advance the world’s understanding of goodwill and empathy while improving the living conditions of children and their communities. We do this by providing basic amenities that children need to grow and thrive so that they can be educationally, mentally, and socially sound. Through our cycling event were able to achieve the mission of bringing joy to the lives of children.
Community Impact
Our work is also aimed at supporting poor communities with poverty alleviation measures to ease the economic decadence. We remain committed to helping vulnerable communities in improving their living conditions. Our projects are focused on education, health, nutrition, and income generation activities. We are a foundation you can trust because we are here to serve.
